Racing Sports Cars is a truly wonderful resource and rabbit hole to get lost in, a great website documenting so much history in one place. It's fun to just browse the random photo and see what weird and wonderful cars and events I fall over. And occasionally, something will catch my eye. A little thing I've recently taken note of is any car that's carrying significant damage, because there's few enough to be rare and notable when found, but not so rare that they're frustrating to find.

The pedant in me wanted to lay down some strict rules at first, like the car has to DNF, but that quickly excludes cars I wanted to include because I like the image.

Dome S101 - 2005 Silverstone 1000km
There's even a shot of it hung by a crane!
Opel Kadett GSi 16V - 1990 Spa 24 Hours
This looks like its in the pit lane? Maybe at the exit if it's the endurance layout?
Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray C2 - 1967 Sebring 12 Hours
The absolute pintrest pastel pink girlypop aesthetic going on here. If this isn't on a Tumblr blog yet, be the change. This car wasn't even running at the end of the event, having been wrecked forty minutes before the end, but would be the first victory for the L88 Corvette.
Jordan 191 - 1996 Interserie Most
A crane and low-loader shot of what is definitely a sportscar, agreed?
Porsche 917/30 TC - 1973 Can-Am Mosport
Mark Donohue is my hero, so I'm happy to get him in this hall of fame.
Chevron B8 - 1972 Coupes de Paris
A mystery! Unknown finishing position, but from the looks of it the car could keep going even after the photographers caught it bashing a haybale.
